Introducing a hip, new cigar brand.

Camaraderie is a Dutch, cigar brand startup putting a fresh twist on a classic tobacco product. The company is aimed at a younger, stylish, male demographic looking to buy at a lower price point.

Bold, sans serif typography was set in the elongated shape of cigar, and a modernized “fist bump” brand mark was also created. The typography was stacked to mimic boxed cigars and sharp right angles and rectangular shapes were used as repeating brand motifs for the images and typography. The colorized photography, color palette and typography is a nod to Reid Miles’ iconic, Modernist, Blue Note, jazz album covers of the ‘50s and ‘60s while the brand name also reflects the camaraderie that musicians share.
